As an agent who's an expert in this local area, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling real estate here. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information. I am eager to serve you.

A little bit about me ...

I have been in various aspects of the home industry for the past 30 years. I began my journey as an Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Engineer of one of the largest residential construction companies in Metro-west Massachusetts.  Relocating to Pennsylvania in the mid 1980's brought a new opportunity, real estate sales, and my official residential sales career began, in one of the worst downturns ... when interest rates topped at 17%.

I relocated back to Massachusetts and I have been with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for the past 15 years. I interviewed with all the real estate firms in the area and chose CBRB. It is an innovative company, ahead of the rest, continually bringing the best tools for both buyers and sellers, to help them get to where they want to go.

My job as your realtor is to listen to your wants and needs, and then custom tailor solutions to help you achieve your goal.  My objective is to provide the most comprehensive professional service with the least amount of stress and interruption to your life.  Feel confident that I will assist you in making the best possible real estate decisions while effectively negotiating every stop of the way for you.

A home is more than four walls and a roof.  It is a lifestyle you live, and it is most likely the largest investment you will ever make.

Let Me Be Your Guide to Better Living ...

If you are a home buyer looking to find a house to call home, I can help you find your new home for you to build the lifestyle you've been dreaming about.

If you are a homeowner who wants to keep your home, however, improve upon its potential and increase the resale value of your investment, I can help you invest wisely while enhancing your quality of living.

If you are a home seller considering a move, I can help you devise a plan of action, market your home and guide you through the process to the closing table.  Allowing you to move on to the next phase of your life.

Oftentimes buyers don't visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience - which can help you get top dollar.  Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and on that's sold fast.

If you or a friend, family member or co-worker are considering a move anywhere domestically or internationally, I can help you find a destination realtor without experiencing any worry, stress or inconvenience; and oversee that your needs are being met.  This is a free no-obligation service.

Divorce Real Estate, RCS-D®

When a marriage dissolves, full-boil emotions can overtake reason as couples untangle their finances, routines, and other details of their life together.  Selling the home at the end of a marriage calls for emotional sensitivity and an understanding of the financial and legal complexities.

As a trained and designated RCS-D Realtor®, a Real Estate Collaborative Specialist - Divorce, I know how to work with you, your legal team or mediator to come up with workable options for both parties.  I am professionally trained to neutralize divorce real estate as a business transaction in the best interest of the house, the kids and each divorcing spouse.

Did You Serve?

What is a Veteran?

"A Veteran - whether active duty, discharged, retired or reserve ... is someone who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to the 'United States of America', for an amount of up to and including his or her life" ...Unknown

Shockingly, only five percent of veterans in Massachusetts use their VA benefits, and Massachusetts accounts for 12% of VA loans overall. The reason, Veterans are unaware that they have these benefits to use.  A few things to know about VA loans...

  • VA Home Loans do not require a down payment
  • VA Home Loans guarantee 25% of the loan, basic entitlement begins at $36,000 and additional bonus in high cost areas
  • There is no monthly PMI (private mortgage insurance)
  • The loans are assumable to other qualified veterans wishing to assume the mortgage
  • VA Home Loan limits in Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Plymouth counties - $598,000
  • Minimum credit could be as low as 580
  • VA loan benefits can be used multiple times
  • Certificate of Eligibility (DD214) is required

... and there is more

The VA Mortgage Specialist I work with is a Certified Military Specialist and has 13 years as a VA Mortgage Originator, NAMB - VA Committee Chairperson and a passionate supporter of our Veteran community.

Please reach out to me if you, a friend or family member would like more information.

"Jean was instrumental with the sale of my grandmother's home. It was a very emotional time for all of us. My grandmother was in the beginning stages of alzheimers so we would have good days and bad. She knew it was time to downsize but, that didn't make it easy for any of us. I had a lot on my plate. Jean coordinated everything for me. She helped with the new septic installation and getting all the paperwork complete, she provided contractor names and even assisted with the disposition of her most prized possessions. All that was needed was done. We sold the home within the first week and I couldn't have done it without her help. Thank you again. "
